The shortlist for the expansion Heathrow Airporthas just been announced, together with conceptual images of the designs by renowned architecture firms such as Grimshaw, Zaha Hadid Architects, HOK and Benoy. The concepts, each different in style and approach, aim to redefine Britain’s global gateway by enabling it to adapt to new trends in global aviation and sustainability.
The architects were asked to propose bold, innovative solutions for asustainable airportthat would integrate local communities.
