LuminAID is an inflatable, solar-powered light designed for a range of uses including disaster response and camping. Each light recharges with about five hours of sunlight, producing eight to 10 hours of light. Since they are lightweight and pack flat, large quantities of LuminAID lights can be delivered to disaster zones. For the holidays, LuminAID has launched the “Give Light, Get Light” initiative, in which the sale of each light for personal use will be matched with a light donated to someone without access electricity.

The LuminAID is a solar-powered, inflatable, waterproof light that packs flat — a perfect substitute to a flashlight in home emergency kits or for camping. UNAIDS, UN Peacekeeping, and LuminAID recently launched a “Give Light, Get Light” holiday initiative to shine a light on ending violence against women in conflict regions. Your purchase will cover the cost of shipping one light to you, and it will also fund the donation of one LuminAID light (and all associated shipping and distribution costs) for someone in need.
