Hortus Celestia features a wide array of agricultural spaces enveloped in a transparent ETFE skin. The ground floor houses restaurants, cafes, exhibition areas and an auditorium. The tower rises out of an ecological park that provides local residents and visitors with an opportunity to walk experience the building’s biodiversity and innovative technology. Rainwater is stored in tanks at the top of the tower and used to supply the irrigation system.
