- Sleepbox Hotel TverskayaThe <a href="http://sleepbox.co.uk/page.aspx?pid=77" target="_blank">Arch Group</a> design studio has transformed a disused building in downtown Moscow into a <a href="http://inhabitat.com/hotello-is-a-pop-up-hotel-room-that-fits-inside-a-trunk/" target="_blank">modular hotel</a>, filling the space with their <a href="http://inhabitat.com/weary-travelers-can-take-power-naps-almost-anywhere-in-the-tiny-sleepbox-01/" target="_blank">portable Sleepbox capsules</a>. The modular hotel rooms line the halls of the <a href="http://sleepbox.co.uk/page.aspx?pid=77" target="_blank">Sleepbox Hotel Tverskaya</a>, giving the abandoned building new purpose with little renovation. Single and two person modules have been used on all four floors, which includes a reception area, lobby and separate shower and toilet cabins on each floor.1
- Sleepbox Hotel TverskayaSleepbox Hotel Tverskaya was created as an <a href="http://inhabitat.com/collision-works-is-a-boutique-shipping-container-hotel-slated-for-detroit/" target="_blank">affordable accommodation</a> in the expensive city of Moscow, in a prime location close to the Kremlin, a heavily visited attraction, as well as a block from the railway station.2
- Sleepbox Hotel TverskayaA cross between a hotel and a hostel, the hotel was able to keep costs down by bringing in the <a href="http://inhabitat.com/citizenm-prefab-hotels-now-provide-affordable-luxury-in-london-and-glasgow/" target="_blank">modular Sleepboxes</a>- rather than building out the vacant building.3

- Sleepbox Hotel TverskayaEach of the cozy modules can comfortably sleep one or two people. Inside, the rooms are illuminated with LED lights, with extra electrical sockets for charging devices or plugging in laptops. The second and third floors have wooden double Sleepboxes, while the fourth floor houses singular white boxes, which include a TV set.5
- Sleepbox Hotel TverskayaThe hotel’s first floor is met with a sleek white reception module, giving a <a href="http://inhabitat.com/absalons-cellule-dwellings-provide-all-the-essentials-of-living-in-just-26-square-feet/" target="_blank">futuristic feel</a>. Along the reception is also a lobby clad with informational iPads mounted to the walls, which provide visitors with internet access, maps and local attractions.6
