The EPA recently released their proposed greenhouse gas performance standards for existing power plants, but these standards will require substantial time and investment to implement fully. Supporting and engaging our nation’s forests in climate mitigation, whether through this rule-making process or in other administrative actions, provides immediate, low hanging fruit for the U.S. to promptly reduce our carbon footprint.
