If you’re not yet familiar with the Zayed Future Energy Prize, check it out! It celebrates achievements that reflect impact, innovation, vision and leadership in renewable energy and sustainability. The Prize awards $4 million every year to a large corporation, a small and medium enterprise, a non-governmental organization, a lifetime achievement recipient and up to five high schools from five different regions. To date, the Prize has provided solar energy access to 57 million people worldwide and enabled 2.5 million people living in rural Africa to switch on lights for the first time.
