The new sustainable toy company, Weefab, is taking pre-orders for Weerol, their modern toy designed by Derek Perkins. The clever toy will grow with your child through many stages. Weerol starts out as a early walking toy and then becomes a ride on toy, and eventually it becomes a wheelbarrow. If you purchase two Weerol's, you can make a large shopping cart or a train by using the ballscrew fasteners. You can also purchase the Rok'nrol accessory which turns the Weerol into a rocking toy and a gliding caster toy.
Beyond the 7 current possible configurations, which make the toy usable from the early walking stage of 1 to 2 and up to 6 year olds, Perkins plans to create other options. The Weerol has an open source platform for attachments that Weefab will eventually design giving the toy even more versatility.
The Weerol is made with renewable plantation birch ply-wood, water based paints and lacquers, rubber tires, and it is BPA free. The Weerol is available in 3 different prints: Summer, Weebra, and Animal Kingdom or natural. It is recommended for children up to age 6.
