The Ecoist Mega Confetti bag is arguably the most eye-popping, eco-friendly option moms have for carting around all of the accouterments that accompany being a stylish mom on the go. As with any other product sold by Ecoist, this bag was fashioned from waste collected and turned into “functional, durable and eye-catching handbags that you will simply love to own.” And Ecoist plants a tree for every bag sold. But not much can compensate for the serious case of the munchies that toting the Mega Confetti bag might induce… it is made from a “mix of thousands of different candy wrappers, food packages, and soda labels.”
This flashy bag begs to be co-opted by environmentally aware, fashion conscious moms everywhere. “You’ll run out of ideas of items to put in it before you run out of room with The Mega,” reads the bag’s description on the ecoist website. Obviously these guys haven’t seen the typical, overstuffed diaper bag. But at 21 inches x 14 inches x 7 inches, they might just be right. At this size it could fit 42 Adiri bottles, or 24 Bummi covers, or even one of those amazingly small QuickSmart strollers … well, maybe not exactly, but you get the idea.
