Lorraine Robinson is really playing our tune with this creative dollhouse she built into her trusty guitar for her daughter. The crafty mom and owner of Fairy Meadow Miniatures in Australia created the one-of-a-kind gift for her daughter's 25th birthday, as a sentimental keepsake and reminder of home, since she is headed to university to embark on a new chapter in her life. Robinson is a skilled furniture maker who has a knack for deftly fashioning items at 1/12th of their size -- and her attention to every diminutive detail really strikes a chord with us in this labor of love.
Robinson spent two weeks and anywhere between five and ten hours a day creating the miniature marvels included in the guitar dollhouse. In addition to a tiny family portrait on the wall, the interior boasts her daughter’s love of song in sweet touches like an armchair upholstered in music sheets, tiny guitars (electric and acoustic, of course) propped against the wall, and pink wallpaper covered in musical notes.
