Wish your kids would learn to put away their toys and books on their own? OOO My Design’s Pin Press attempts to solve that problem. The wall of pins, which designer Vanesa Moreno calls a kid’s room shelf, can be manipulated to hold toys and books. When kids push the pins or push an object into the wall, it adapts its form to the objects to hold them like a shelf.
We love how playful this piece of furniture is and bet that it would at least help in encouraging kids to clean up. But kids may spend more time playing and exploring than organizing with this wall, which could be a catchall for favorite toys, books and plushies.
The clever Pin Press design is now available to buy! The main part of the Pin Press can be made of natural pine plywood, or white lacquered and the pins can be of natural beachwood, or stained in your choice of four colors. Pin Press won the Josep Ros furniture design competition.
