PACT is a progressive clothing company founded on the idea that the right clothes can make the world a better place. The company offers socks, underwear, and other everyday essentials made from organic cotton, and uses a portion of the proceeds to fund earth-friendly causes. Now, PACT has announced a new addition to its Fall Collection — a line of baby socks, beanies, and bodysuits. Made from the same limited edition prints used in the adult collection, this new line is made with with super soft organic cotton and designed to fit perfectly, so your little one will be comfy and cute all day long.
Every element of PACT’s new line of baby clothing is made from organic cotton sourced from family-run cooperatives. All of the material is completely free from pesticides, fertilizers and bleaches, and all garments are made in sweatshop-free factories where the workers are paid well and treated well. In fact, their sock factory is powered by wind energy, and all of their packaging is made from FSC-controlled wood sources and printed with vegetable-based inks.
PACT’s baby beanies, bodysuits, and socks are are available in a variety of festive fall prints, from Bootstrap Stripe to Autumn Orchid (as an added bonus, the beanies are reversible)! And here’s the best part, every garment you purchase will help support a cause we all believe in: small, locally-owned businesses and a thriving local economy.
“PACT’s Fall 2013 collection is inspired by small businesses, from tailors to repair shops to local cafes – these are the foundation of thriving communities,” explains the company website. “Every purchase contributes to a fund that will turn into micro-loans for low income entrepreneurs who want to start their own small businesses. You get super soft, organic socks and underwear, and big-dreamers get their first chance at a first chance.”
