ReVision furniture may make you rethink your disdain for junk mail. Designed by teen artist apprentices in Boston’s Artists for Humanity mentor program, the ReVision collection is made with reclaimed junk mail and magazines. After assembly, the table’s surface is finished with a no-VOC, eco-friendly and water resistant resin. Living up to the adage that “someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure,” we’re thrilled that this up and coming generation of young designers has the future of our planet in mind.
Equally compelling is the inspiration behind ReVision furniture, made possible by Artists for Humanity’s mission: “to bridge economic, racial and social divisions by providing urban youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in the arts. Teen artists are mentored in visual arts, market their artistic products and creative services to the public, and are exposed to the benefits of sustainable living through their work in the AFH EpiCenter.”
