A new study shows that women who get poorer sleep are more at risk for problems associated with the progression of heart disease — because poor sleep appears to raise heart inflammation levels. This health concern was not detected in men, even in men getting poor sleep. On the tail of this study, researchers in Sweden have just found that women who report long-term stress are more likely to suffer aches and pains in their muscles and joints, headaches or migraines and gastrointestinal problems. The point of all this? You may want to take care of yourself first once in a while. Try to get more sleep, ask for help from your partner, friends and family and take moments each day to relax.
