- Ireland container home by Ceardean ArchitectsIreland’s first <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/shipping-container-home/" target="_blank">shipping container home</a> was completed in just three days on the grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA). Built by a team of volunteers, the low-cost house boasts a modern finish and is partially powered by solar panels. The house was completed as part of the Ripple Container Homes Project in November of last year, and was donated to the St. Vincent de Paul charity to house a homeless family.1
