Levi Strauss is teaming up with Evrnu to make the world’s first jeans made out of over 50 percent post-consumer cotton waste. Seattle-based Evrnu is a company that takes previously-used fibers and turns them into something new. The two companies joined together to create a product that uses 98-percent less water and fosters a circular economy in fashion, which Levi says is an important part of its goals.
