Lexus just unveiled its hotly anticipated LF-LC hybrid sports coupe at the NAIAS 2012 in Detroit, and as you can see from our exclusive photos it's a total showstopper! Half sexy sports car and half sensible sedan, the cherry red head turner is attracting quite a crowd here at the Detroit Auto Show. Check out our exclusive photos of the just-unveiled vehicle below.
With its aerodynamic body and hourglass grill, the Lexus LF-LC Sports Coupe Concept Car is one of the most futuristic and innovative hybrid vehicles we’ve ever seen from the luxury auto maker, and wait until you see whats under the hood. The headlights were inspired by jet fighter afterburners and feature LED details and the LF-LC is also the world’s only vehicle to have a front to back glass roof. Inside, two 12.3-inch LCD screens serve as navigation and speedometer displays. Lexus‘s stylish concept hybrid vehicle is as fast as it looks, packing lots of punch with its super boosting hybrid powertrain engine. The design allows for the perfect combination of ultra fuel efficiency and the high-performance driving Lexus is known for. We loved the clean lines of rich wood, metal, and leather that accentuate the surprisingly roomy interior, complemented by the panoramic sunroof. No details on when this beauty will come to market (if ever), as it is for now a pure concept, but expect to see some of these design details translate from the auto show through to the Lexus line.
