This year Mexico and the United Kingdom will launch an interactive campaign known as “Year of Mexico in the United Kingdom” and the “Year of the United Kingdom in Mexico” in 2015. The festivities kicked off in the U.K.’s Potters Fields Park vis-à-vis the Tower Bridge of London, displaying a 25 meter geodesic dome with a base area of over 500 square meters.
The dynamic structure uses cutting edge technology to tell a story of a country which cultural heritage dates back to first Mayan settlements established c. 2000 BC. The immersive projection takes guests on a tour of the Mexico’s 32 states, that include archeological sites, bustling cities natural zones and world heritage sites. The Mexico Tourism Board teamed up with Freedomes, a manufacturer of geodesic dome structures based in Poland and projection specialists from LM Productions, to prepare this interactive showcase that redefines experiential marketing.
