But after tinkering with LEDs for several months, Kelly developed both a newfound respect for the energy efficient LEDs as well as an elegant new design for the Center Pendant rope lights. Using a laborious 52-step process, Kelly hand makes these hanging lights, each containing a long LED tube embedded seamlessly inside the end of white nylon rope.1
