Made from a recycled steel alloy and FSC-certified wood, Mio’s Flip Tables and Stools are interchangeable designs that can be assembled in hundreds of ways. Adding or flipping the steel base creates tables and seating of varying heights and styles that are easily adjustable for any situation. Having a chair that can double as coffee table or bar stool cuts down on the number of pieces needed in any sized space.

Their Slide Shelf System also offers customizable, modular storage mounted on the wall. The clever system consists of brackets, shelves and bins that can be instantly configured to organize items by sliding them into place. And just like the tables and stools, these vibrant, modern materials offer a bright pop of color while providing plenty of functionality.

Founded by brothers Isaac and Jamie Salm in the city of brotherly love, Mio’s guiding principle is ‘Responsible Desire,’ based on the belief that consumers “should crave sustainable products out of genuine desire rather than fear, guilt or altruism.” All of their products contain a recycled component and sustainably-sourced wood, are coated with a durable low-VOC finish, and are manufactured locally within 100 miles from the area of distribution.

We spotted Mio’s spunky line of furniture at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) as part of New York Design Week. Check out all of the latest trending designs from the shows right here.
