The Mewgaroo’s “cat purse pocket” is supposedly designed for owners to tote around their cat or small critter around wherever they go, but we have to admit that’s a laughable proposition, especially with felines. The makers of the Mewgaroo do warn owners that the “dressing gown” is designed to be used in a sitting state and “when you stand up, please as always support the pet from the bottom of the pocket.”

The pet-sized pocket is equipped with a removable lining that can be easily cleaned to remove shedding fur. Perfect for telecommuters, Mewgaroo lets you sit and snuggle to your heart’s content and even includes dangling pom poms for kitten-approved play. It comes in three different unisex sizes and colors — gray, black or white — and features a cat-eared hood and paw prints on the ends of its sleeves.
While Unihabitat shop is designed for Japanese consumers at this point, you can purchase one on Amazon for around $75. In the meantime, we’re pawing for a sustainable version made in the USA.
