Housing isn’t the only type of architecture going mobile. American architects Mobile Office Architects (MOA) and Spiegel Aihara Workshop (SAW) collaborated to create the True & Co. ‘Try-On-Truck,’ a nomadic retail fitting room currently making its way across the United States. Designed for San Francisco-based True & Co., an online company known for its ‘big data’ approach to finding women the perfect fitting bra, the mobile steel-framed fitting room offers a transformable, light-filled, and comfortable space set on a 24-foot trailer that was intended to carry a tiny home. LEDs illuminate the space, while clever underfloor storage keeps back-of-house necessities out of sight. TheTrue & Co. Try-on-Truck will tour the US throughout 2016.
