The façade of the LEGO hotel may not be made of plastic bricks, but it is decked out in decorative color blocks, setting the stage for the LEGO love inside. Guests will be greeted by a giant LEGO castle in the lobby, perched on a cliff under a ceiling painted like a cloudy blue sky. The in-house restaurant is packed with LEGO chefs and pixellated foods, which are on display around the dining room and kitchen area.
However the real LEGO adventure starts in the rooms, which are decorated to look like LEGO minifig accommodations from familiar block sets. Parents can sleep like royalty in the Kingdom themed rooms, while kids cozy up in their own bunk beds in a second adjacent room.
The more adventurous themes offer rooms complete with LEGO monkeys, tarantulas, jungle animals and other characters that LEGO Johnny Thunder has met along his adventures. Little pirates can walk the plank into bed in the pirate wing, with skull and cross bones emblazoned rooms, treasure map rugs and LEGO parrot companions.
The fun starts on April 5th, and the new hotel is sure to draw adults and kids from around the world to indulge in their ultimate LEGO fantasy.
