NYC’s fourth annual celebration of architecture and design starts tomorrow! Rechristening the tenth month of the year as Archtober, it will be a month-long festival of architecture activities, programs and exhibitions all over New York City. The event will feature more than 150 curated programs by 50-plus participating groups, from the Guggenheim to the Center for Architecture, so don’t miss it!
You can thank the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter and the Center for Architecture for a large part of this packed month of design activities. Just a few of the events that might interest you are the daily building tours, the AIANY architectural boat tours, and openhousenewyork weekend, which will grant attendees access to many homes and spaces that are usually closed off to the public.
There will be even more events running all month long—and we really mean events for every day of the month. You can check them all out here on the Archtober calendar.
