Up for a little feline-focused film fun this month? Head on down to the Lower East Side’s Koneko Cat Cafe and take advantage of their new cat-centric movie nights. Starting tonight, the cat lover’s corner will not only let you hang out with their sweet and cuddly furry friends, but they’ll also be showing films selected specifically for their catty co-stars. Kicking off the movie sessions will be Breakfast at Tiffany’s, featuring Holly Golightly’s lovable pal, Orangey.

For cat lovers, Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a perfect choice thanks to its beloved co-star, Orangey, a marmalade tabby and the only feline double-winner of the esteemed Patsy Award, the animal equivalent of the Oscar.

According to Gothamist, the series will follow the Audrey Hepburn classic with the Johnny Depp version of Alice in Wonderland on January 14th, and will most likely finish up with a showing of The Future, a dramatic tale of a stray cat adoption.

For those of you who would love to cozy up to a purring kitty while gazing up at the big screen, Koneko movie tickets cost $30, which includes the film, popcorn, a beverage of your choice, and “as many cats as will fit in your lap”.
