Calling all design junkies and architecture lovers! Archtober is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever. This year the AIA NY and The Center for Architecture have teamed up with nearly 50 organizations across Manhattan and Brooklyn to bring 31 days packed full of archi-centered events including tours, green design exhibits, workshops, films, special panels and much, much more. The festivities will officially kick off this coming Monday, October 1st, marked by tours of the Fulton Center and PS 397 and the opening of The Edgeless School: Design for Learning, the Center for Architecture’s fall exhibition. Check out the Architober site for more info and a full calendar of events. And because we really want you to get out there and explore NYC’s built environment, Inhabitat NYC readers will get free admission to all panels – simply register with the promo code: nypress12.
