Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and you only have a few weeks to plan your decadent feast. Local Roots NYC’s Community Supported Agriculture program is here to help your holiday meal to be the freshest, most delicious one yet! With Local Roots’ Pop Up Thanksgiving, your family and friends can enjoy a local, organic and sustainable Thanksgiving dinner this year.

Unlike other CSAs, you don’t have to be a member to get food from the Pop Up Thanksgiving. Hungry New Yorkers can order all kinds of local and organic goodies for the big day, available in half shares- which feed 4-6, or full shares, which feed 8-10 (or 4-6 with delicious leftovers for days!)

Locally raised turkeys from Quattro Game Farm in Pleasant Valley will headline, followed by squash, veggies and potatoes from The Rogowski Farm. Apples and cider are provided through from Red Jacket Orchards, organic flour comes from Cayuga Pure Organics, and fresh breads (including beer bread!) are made by Orwasher Bakery.

The best part? Delivery to Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn is available, so you don’t even have to bust out your granny cart. But be sure to get your list together soon because Pop Up Thanksgiving CSA is only taking orders until Friday, October 28th.
