Well, it looks like you're all out of luck if you were hoping to share a vitamin C-infused shower space with super-celeb Leonardo DiCaprio. Word on the street is that the A-list actor, known for both his environmentally-conscious lifestyle as well as his Hollywood blockbuster roles, has just rented out his swanky, eco-focused property in the Greenwich Village's Delos building for a cool $25,000 a month.
As reported by the NY Post and 6sqft, DiCaprio leased out his $10 million Delos apartment to Jonathan Orszag, who was an economic policy advisor for President Clinton during the 1990s. The Sixty-Six East Eleventh Street building is well-known for its environmentally-friendly features and green building principles.
Using the WELL standard model, the Delos property was built with various eco-features designed to extend and improve the quality of life. The famous actor’s penthouse is said to come complete with a multitude of health-conscious amenities such as kitchen herbariums, vitamin-C infused showers, posture-supportive flooring, purified air and water and circadian lighting.
In addition to combining luxury living with eco-friendly features, the Delos model also gives back to society by committing to building 40 homes in Haiti for every unit sold.
