NY NOW, New York’s premier showcase of home, lifestyle and gift products, announced the winners of its 12th semi-annual Eco Choice Awards this week. The winning products — Tokens & Icon‘s woolen hat made out of an MLB game-used baseball, CounterEvolution’s “Looper” Lazy Susan crafted from reclaimed bowling alley wood, and Spinster Sisters’ prettily packaged all-natural salt soaks — were chosen from 150 entries that were showcased at the market’s SustainAbility: design for a better world display. The submissions were evaluated on-site at the show by judges Sam Ujvary of Gift Shop Magazine, Susan Inglis of the Sustainable Furnishings Council, Candance Holloway of Uncommon Goods, and yours truly. A hearty congratulations to all of the winners!
