OMA is the latest in a list of internationally acclaimed architects to contribute to New York City’s High Line. The architecture firm has been tapped by developer Related Companies to design a new project on West 18th Street. OMA founder Rem Koolhaas and partners joins fellow architect Zaha Hadid, who has also been tapped by Related Companies for an 11-story luxury High Line project at West 28th Street. Details have yet to be released, but this will be the first OMA “ground-up” building in New York City.
