A posh new hotel has opened in the Hudson Valley just in time for summer. Designed by New York City-based architectural and interior design firm Glen & Company Architecture, the Time Nyack Hotel is a brand new 133-room boutique hotel that marries modern amenities with the industrial charm of the former factory it’s located inside of.
The hotel’s interior design uniquely fuses exposed brick, concrete and wood flooring with softer touches like tufted upholstery and delicate light fixtures. The homey walnut wall paneling, a nod to the surrounding nature in the area, contrasts nicely with the space’s more contemporary features. The rooms themselves have spacious loft-style interiors with custom details such as textured wall coverings and hand-woven Persian carpets.
Those lucky enough to reserve rooms, which start at $219 a night, can enjoy a rooftop bar and speakeasy space, followed by dinner at BV’s Grill. Additionally, the hotel has a business center, over 4,000 square feet of event space, outdoor seating with a bar and pool deck, a fitness center, a bike-sharing program, and even a Tesla-charging station.
“Our design for the hotel was based upon the quirky, eclectic spirit of Nyack mashed up with the overall gestalt of the Time Hotels brand,” said Glen Coben, founder and owner of Glen & Co. “The boutique hotel will offer its guests a getaway designed to immerse them into the Hudson Valley and offer an escape from reality.”
