Buying new furniture can be a big commitment, especially given the cost and energy associated with shipping and setting up a large piece. What happens if you go through all of the pains of getting a new couch, table or wardrobe to your house, only to see that it just doesn’t look right in the space? IKEA is hoping to save their customers from these frustrations with their augmented reality app, which lets you visualize how pieces will actually look in your home. You can set up entire rooms and even send them to others to see what they think, saving time, money, fuel and headaches. We recently got a chance to see how the app works in person. Check out our video of it in action above!
