  impact. DC has tons of close in areas with amazing amenities and resources in desperate need of redevelopment. Projects like this are lazy in my mind and most certainly involved some political ______________________ container house

  I am not sure this qualifies as sustainable. Its really just another example of urban sprawl being greenwashed. Sustainable would be redeveloping closer in areas with such a project. Instead, they just move further out along the commuter roads and build a huge complex, which ultimately adds to congestion, sprawl, and environmental impact. DC has tons of close in areas with amazing amenities and resources in desperate need of redevelopment. Projects like this are lazy in my mind and most certainly involved some political handshakes.
