We’ve reported on Otocycles’ designs before, when Otocycles launched its previous models. The OtoR and OtoK bikes were made for urban travel—a step up from a bicycle but not quite a motorcycle. The new offering, the RaceR bike, takes all the best things about the previous models and turns them up a notch. The latest version features a bigger front light for better visibility at night and an adjustable saddle for added comfort.

Otocycles designed the RaceR e-bike using recycled materials for the frame’s tube, which is something previous models didn’t feature. The same material is used for a battery storage bag, and Otocycles has also added a line of accessories made from the recycled material.
The RaceR has a top speed of 25 km/h (15 miles per hour) and a range of 75 km (about 43 miles) with pedal assistance. Along with human power, the bike is propelled by a 36V 11AH lithium ion battery, which is pretty popular among e-bike designers. The RaceR also features a 5 level LCD to help monitor battery power and bike performance.
Otocycles plans to make the RaceR available for purchase this Autumn. The price has not yet been announced.
