New York City has once again proven its prowess for producing record-breaking skyscrapers. The swanky new 432 Park Avenue highrise, located between 56th and 57th streets, is now officially the tallest building in the city and the tallest residential building in the western hemisphere. The $1.3 billion luxury condominium designed by architect Rafael Viñoly boasts a towering height of 1,396 feet, 28 feet taller than the newly built One World Trade Center without its spire.

Surrounded by similarly tall buildings within the so-called “Billionaires’ Belt”, 432 Park Avenue is not only raising the stakes when it comes to its awesome height, but also its soaring price tag. There are 104 apartments in the building, which start at the low, low price of just $7 million.

However, if you’re really looking for the utmost in luxury, the building has two very posh penthouses. One has already sold for a mind-numbing $95 million, but there is another up for grabs on the 95th floor that comes with a staggering $81 million price tag if you’re interested.
