Patagonia, makers of outdoor and technical clothing with an eco-friendly heart, is making it easier than ever for consumers to get more life out of their gear. Much of Patagonia’s clothing has long been recyclable, but now it’s possible to have your duds repaired as well. In a tour they’re calling “Worn Wear,” Patagonia is sending gear repair experts across America, from west to east, for the next month to repair Patagonia goods, teach people about gear maintenance, and sell used gear. Oh yeah, and if you have a Patagonia-branded item in need of repair, you can get it mended free of charge on the Worn Wear tour. Read on for details and to find out when the repair gurus will be in a town near you.
