New brand <a href="https://www.pentatonic.com/en_de/" target="_blank">Pentatonic</a>, launching this week, is making <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/modular-furniture/" target="_blank">modular furniture</a> out of <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/trash/" target="_blank">trash</a>, but their commitment goes beyond simply <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/recycling/" target="_blank">recycling</a>. They aim to use solely waste as a starting point, and create their own materials out of garbage like <a href="http://inhabitat.com/tag/plastic-bottles/" target="_blank">plastic water bottles</a> and glass from smartphones. They pledge to take back their recyclable products when a consumer is finished with them, and turn them into new pieces.11
