- Al-Bayt-Stadium-Qatar<a href="http://inhabitat.com/qatar-unveils-luxurious-off-grid-floating-hotels-for-2022-world-cup/" target="_blank">Qatar</a> just released a video of the stunning Al Bayt Stadium slated for construction in Al Khor City, just 30 miles north of Doha. The 60,000-seater Al Bayt <a href="http://inhabitat.com/zaha-hadids-qatar-world-cup-stadium-uses-passive-design-to-tackle-desert-heat/" target="_blank">Stadium</a> was modeled after black-and-white tents traditionally used by <a href="http://inhabitat.com/mongolias-nomads-modernize-traditional-tent-homes-with-solar-panels/" target="_blank">nomadic</a> people in Qatar. The stadium is expected to be complete by 2018 in time for the 2022 World Cup.1
