The Timeshare Backyard [1] has added a few goodies since last year including picnic tables, lounge chairs, umbrellas and a grill. The space also includes a bathroom, squirt guns, hula hoops and street art.

This patch of grass is available at budget rates—just $100 for an hour and you can invite up to 30 friends to share this green space with you.

The Participation Agency [2] is an experiential marketing company that came up with the idea out of nostalgia for their pre-NYC lives, which included a bit more grass and a lot more grilled meat. They wanted to provide New Yorkers with a suburban feeling in the middle of the city.
