Last year Rimac Automobili unveiled the Concept One electric supercar to the auto industry in Frankfurt, and now the 1,088 horsepower car is set to be shown to the public in September at the UK’s Salon Privé. The Croatia-based company is led by 24-year old Mate Rimac, and the electric supercar is powered by four individual electric motors and has a range of 373 miles on a single charge.

“We started with a blank sheet of paper. The idea was to create an exceptional supercar with a new propulsion concept. What we have here is a fully-fledged hypercar that is as powerful as a Bugatti, as stylish as a Ferrari and as luxurious as a Mercedes, all while managing to forsake even the tiniest sip of gasoline”, said Mate Rimac.
The Rimac Concept One has an electric motor for each wheel that generates a total 1,088 horsepower and reaches 0-62 mph in an insanely quick 2.8 seconds. According to Rimac, the Rimac All Wheel Torque Vectoring System (R-AWTV) controls each motor and wheel independently for optimal driving dynamics.
How much will the Concept One cost? Rimac Automobili only plans on producing 88 units with a price tag around $1 million.
