My son has sensitive skin. Being careful with clothing and types of soap has helped, but his skin still get a slight rash sometimes. Perhaps a mattress made without chemicals will help it go away completely.

I would love to win a Naturepedic 2 in 1 Organic Ultra cotton mattress for my son, who is 4.5 years old and is on the severe end of the Autism Spectrum. We have always tried to be careful with the products that we put in and on our bodies, but have recently been taking extra measures to eliminate toxins from his environment in the body. We believe that once his body is no longer fighting these toxins, he will be be able to make his greatest possible gains. We have recently started an elimination diet to heal his gut and therefore get rid of toxins currently in his body. He loves to snuggle and loves his room. I'm 57 year old and I suffer from scoliosis and chronic arthritis on my back. The mattress that I sleep on are more than 20 years old, I don"t get a good sleep or wake-up rested because the mattress trigger my pain I wish I can win this but if not let somebody that need it more than me have it. Three years ago, I found out that I was very chemically sensitive after purchasing a $2800. new name brand mattress set. This mattress had no smell, but the off gassing of the chemicals in it affected me so severely that I had to leave my house for several days while my husband removed the mattress and aired out our home. This insidious chemical nightmare led me to do a lot of research and I was shocked at what I found. So many mattresses are made with chemical flame retardants that are dangerous to one\\\'s health. My husband works long hours and he sleeps on a twin mattress which is not good for his lumbar or does it support his weight. This would be great for him all the way thought. They say if you get a good sleep you can work like nothing.

We have a bit of an odd sleep setup in our bedroom, with a twin bed pushed next to the queen bed because we all sleep in the same room (Mommy, Daddy, 2 kids). We're just more comfortable that way, with the entire family together. My poor hubby gets the most abuse because he is usually on the twin and the mattress is just terrible. He drives 200 miles a day for work and during work he's around nasty insulation and dust all day, which really take a toll on his allergies. Then to top it off he can't even get a decent night's sleep at home. This mattress just looks like a dream and would provide him a better night's rest. I would love to win this for my granddaughter. She was born when she was 27 weeks and weighed 1 and 1/2 lbs. She has had quite a few things wrong with her because of that. Most have been corrected or have corrected themselves as she got older. She will be 2 in October. She still has issues with her lungs and may always have that. as someone with extreme allergies, the thought of this mattress even being an actual product on the market is a sheer relief. living in Philadelphia, you see all sorts of disgusting garbage and people, unfortunately, use mattresses here until they are well beyond their throw away point, but disposing them is tough and maybe not the case with everyone, but as a b-corp employee, vegan and all around lover-of-mother-nature, I have definitely kept mattresses (amongst other items) longer than I should have due to GUILT! I work long hard hours outside in the dirt. I've been sleeping on a hand me down mattress and it has to go. I can rarely afford to buy organic food- much less an organic mattress, though I wince with every decision and purchase that I make- wishing they better reflected my deep desire to heal and repair the earth. My daughter is a trooper. Strength, patience and endurance of 100 adults! She has allergies and is itchy and uncomfortable most of the time yet she has to most beautiful smile and sweet, funny, light sense of humour. Night times are the hardest times...she is tired yet uncomfortable. How amazing if she were to have something new and comfortable and most of all SAFE for her to enjoy. Oh and did I mention she is the oldest, most mature 8 year old I have ever come across! She makes me so proud!

My wife and I are actually shopping for a new mattress/bed for our daughter right now. Her current bed is plain a foam sheet (the egg carton ridged type) from that big store from Sweden. She is now a lot bigger and heavier and she does not get the support she needs for a growing child. It has gotten worse that now she wants to sleep with her baby brother - whose bed actually has a proper mattress. We would love to give this to her and ensure she is developing physically correct as well as getting a sound sleep. In addition, she has allergies and we had to be careful of what she wears (detergents), eats (food allergies) and such that this bed set would be a relief to my wife and I knowing they will not worsen her conditions. My lovely grand daughter is moving in with us making it a family of four living in a camper. We are building a small house but everything we owned has been sold so we can move and start a new life. Currently every dime we have is going into the land and building. I work as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in a long-term care facility. It is a very hard job physically, and when I get home after a 13-hour day, I would love to be sleeping on a good mattress, and actually get a full and restful sleep. However, right now, I have a broken boxspring that sits crooked, and a very saggy mattress. Having a mattress that will allow me to wake up without severe back pain in the morning would be ever so nice!

I would so love to win the contest. Well where do I start :) my partner has had a battle with his health and I have had to try to maintain a very healthy, organic lifestyle on just my income. I am a single father with three sons. This would go to my oldest, who is two years away from college, and would then be passed down, for many years of use. I am concerned about the ever-increasing amount of toxic chemicals in my children's lives that are unavoidable (in the air, water, and soil, of course, but also in medication, furniture, etc.). ANYTHING I do to reduce the toxic load on my kids is a positive, and the fact that it will help them get a better night's sleep is huge, too!

I desperately need a new mattress. Mine is a Beautyrest purchased in 1996. My daughter is in need of a new mattress. She's been sleeping on a foam mattress from Ikea. We've noticed lately, that she might have allergies. Every night, she coughs quite a bit. My toddler is ready for a twin mattress, but this is a big investment. He has allergies, so I am thinking that this organic cotton option could be a real benefit for him, not to mention the lack of chemicals for healthy brain development and growth. We've got a great kid -- with some health issues that we can't seem to balance. His allergies have always been bad, but now his allergies have become the primary trigger for his neurological tics. A few years ago he was diagnosed with Turrets. Until this school year, his tics have gone unnoticed by his peers. But now – with his allergies flaring – his tics are showing up as repeated sniffles and snorts stemming from his underlying allergy symptoms. Your mattress sounds amazing! One of the features that really stands out for me is the waterproof side which would control dust mites! My granddaughter is very allergic to so many things and I feel her bed could be a major contributor. I love that your mattress is wool free and organic too! My son has sensitive skin. Being careful with clothing and types of soap has helped, but his skin still get a slight rash sometimes. Perhaps a mattress made without chemicals will help it go away completely.

Three years ago, I found out that I was very chemically sensitive after purchasing a $2800. new name brand mattress set. We have a bit of an odd sleep setup in our bedroom, with a twin bed pushed next to the queen bed because we all sleep in the same room (Mommy, Daddy, 2 kids). We're just more comfortable that way, with the entire family together. My poor hubby gets the most abuse because he is usually on the twin and the mattress is just terrible. He drives 200 miles a day for work and during work he's around nasty insulation and dust all day, which really take a toll on his allergies. Then to top it off he can't even get a decent night's sleep at home. This mattress just looks like a dream and would provide him a better night's rest. as someone with extreme allergies, the thought of this mattress even being an actual product on the market is a sheer relief. living in Philadelphia, you see all sorts of disgusting garbage and people, unfortunately, use mattresses here until they are well beyond their throw away point, but disposing them is tough and maybe not the case with everyone, but as a b-corp employee, vegan and all around lover-of-mother-nature, I have definitely kept mattresses (amongst other items) longer than I should have due to GUILT! I work long hard hours outside in the dirt. I've been sleeping on a hand me down mattress and it has to go. My daughter is a trooper. Strength, patience and endurance of 100 adults! She has allergies and is itchy and uncomfortable most of the time yet she has to most beautiful smile and sweet, funny, light sense of humour. My wife and I are actually shopping for a new mattress/bed for our daughter right now. Her current bed is plain a foam sheet (the egg carton ridged type) from that big store from Sweden. She is now a lot bigger and heavier and she does not get the support she needs for a growing child. It has gotten worse that now she wants to sleep with her baby brother - whose bed actually has a proper mattress. We would love to give this to her and ensure she is developing physically correct as well as getting a sound sleep. In addition, she has allergies and we had to be careful of what she wears (detergents), eats (food allergies) and such that this bed set would be a relief to my wife and I knowing they will not worsen her conditions. My lovely grand daughter is moving in with us making it a family of four living in a camper. We are building a small house but everything we owned has been sold so we can move and start a new life. I'd love to win this so I could have a mattress that is healthier for my child and free of harmful toxins and my favorite thing about this mattress is that the waterproof side has the added bonus of functioning as a dust mite barrier. This would really help cut down on the allergens.

I work as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in a long-term care facility. It is a very hard job physically, and when I get home after a 13-hour day, I would love to be sleeping on a good mattress, and actually get a full and restful sleep. However, right now, I have a broken boxspring that sits crooked, and a very saggy mattress. Having a mattress that will allow me to wake up without severe back pain in the morning would be ever so nice!

I love that this is made in the USA and is organic and non-toxic! What's not to love. My littles both have severe allergies. Having an organic mattress to help combat some reactions to artificial chemicals in commercial mattresses would help this mama rest a little easy as (the lucky one) gets a good night's rest. I would like to win this for my youngest son. He has some severe allergies latex being one of them. This would be amazing to know he could sleep in peace and safety. I love the fact that it's ORGANIC most.

I would so love to win the contest. Well where do I start :) my partner has had a battle with his health and I have had to try to maintain a very healthy, organic lifestyle on just my income. In order to be able to maintain the organic lifestyle we have had to compromise on things like our bed because in order for me to afford purely organic food we have had to live in shared accommodation. Now just to be able to take it one big step forward health wise and be able to wake up refreshed and feeling good I would be the happiest person alive to be able to see my partners face after having slept on a Naturepedic Matteress with ergonomic design and durable innerspring his life should improve dramatically. I want to see the difference on his face

I am a single father with three sons. This would go to my oldest, who is two years away from college, and would then be passed down, for many years of use. I am concerned about the ever-increasing amount of toxic chemicals in my children's lives that are unavoidable (in the air, water, and soil, of course, but also in medication, furniture, etc.). ANYTHING I do to reduce the toxic load on my kids is a positive, and the fact that it will help them get a better night's sleep is huge, too!

I desperately need a new mattress. Mine is a Beautyrest purchased in 1996. I would love to win a Naturepedic organic cotton mattress as I am allergic to dust mites and sensitive to chemicals and odors. The Naturepedic organic mattress is hypoallergenic and toxin and pesticide free. Getting a good nights rest is crucial to living a healthy lifestyle. My daughter is in need of a new mattress. She's been sleeping on a foam mattress from Ikea. We've noticed lately, that she might have allergies. Every night, she coughs quite a bit. We've gotten an air purifier and our next step is finding a mattress. This one seems perfect. A good nights sleep is essential to life.

My toddler is ready for a twin mattress, but this is a big investment. He has allergies, so I am thinking that this organic cotton option could be a real benefit for him, not to mention the lack of chemicals for healthy brain development and growth. However, it is a huge investment to make without really having a chance to test it out for a few months. If we could win it, we'll send you a toddler video thank you. :)

We've got a great kid -- with some health issues that we can't seem to balance. His allergies have always been bad, but now his allergies have become the primary trigger for his neurological tics. A few years ago he was diagnosed with Turrets. Until this school year, his tics have gone unnoticed by his peers. But now – with his allergies flaring – his tics are showing up as repeated sniffles and snorts stemming from his underlying allergy symptoms. Three kids at school have already asked him, “What’s wrong with you?” and asked him to stop . . . which he can’t. We’re pulling out all the stops to get his bedroom dust-free and keep him well-rested (another key to minimizing his tics). Winning the Naturepedic mattress would be a big coup in our struggle to reduce allergens in his life this year, reduce his tics, and do everything we can to keep him growing up the popular and confident third-grader his friends and teachers have come to love. Your mattress sounds amazing! One of the features that really stands out for me is the waterproof side which would control dust mites! My granddaughter is very allergic to so many things and I feel her bed could be a major contributor. I love that your mattress is wool free and organic too! I think this could be the answer to a lot of her allergy issues and to be honest we hadn't even thought about her allergies possibly being from her bed! We have one for our 6 year old and we LOVE it! We bought a CHEAP mattress for my 3 yr old and hate it. :-( Naturepedic is so comfy and chemical free.

This mattress would be ideal for my daughter; safe, free from allergens, and NATURAL! Most of all, this seems durable which is a big plus! I might even then get one for Mom, an asthma sufferer too!

I would love this mattress for my teenager, Lily. I have had a history of allergies and migraines. Lily has been experiencing some of these issues as well. She is extremely mindful, as I am, of all that goes into and on her body. We would love for her to have this mattress!
