Common paper postage tubes receive a beautiful new life in these stunning cardboard lamps created by Ruth Oh. Each simple and elegant lamp is created by inserting a bulb into a cardboard tube and then carving out a series of thin strips that let light shine out from within. The designer used low-wattage energy efficient bulbs that provide soft light while ensuring that temperatures don’t get too hot.

It was just a matter of time before others found the voting loophole. Now many can run up their scores artificially but will it make them the best designer they can be or simply a penultimate with techno savvy?

This is beautiful. I’m not sure that the above post was called for.
