The idea behind Sprinkle Brigade’s “pieces” is pretty obvious, so we’ll spare you the details. Whether you think the art is thought-provoking or just plain $#*t, we have to admit that most of the arrangements are clever and definitely chuckle-inducing. Poodolph, 2006 That's not a typo - this post isn't about pop art - it's about poop art. That's right, NYC-based Sprinkle Brigade, a self-proclaimed group of guys who still live in their parents' basement, takes turds that they find on the street and upcycles (we use the term loosely here) them into little pieces of joy. Check out the full array of their work, which ranges from a chocolate colored Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer to the slightly more stomach-churning "Risotto Negro." Taken at Yankee Stadium, this piece is certainly a good way to help you stick to your diet.
If your roommate leaves you a message like this, it's time to get a new roommate.
How foolish would you feel if you picked up this piece, entitled "Fool's Gold"? Pretty darn foolish, we would think.
This obviously symbolizes the need for us as a society to switch to alternative forms of transportation.
Simple in its execution, "Turd Burgler" is both menacing and meditative.
"Hellraiser" is very scary indeed.
We aren't sure what Sprinkle Brigade was trying to accomplish with this and we don't even want to know.
"The Last Supper" evokes a feeling of desperation - perhaps referring to our society's struggle during these harsh economic conditions. Or it could just be a bunch of birds eating sprinkles on poop.
This just seems wrong...
Again, a seemingly more effective way to diet if you can't stick to Weight Watchers.
Less thought seems to have gone into this one.
And, as promised, "Risotto Negro" - only make this for your date if you want him or her to never ever speak to you again and/or call the cops on you.
