Currently a student at the Rhode Island School of Design, Pease created the speakers with the help of David A. Mellis’ open source instructions for Fab Speakers. Constructed out of glass, fabric, and electronic elements, the audioJar runs on AAA batteries, and is compatible with any standard audio jack. The clean, no-frills construction earned Pease a Core77 2012 DIY Notable distinction.
