- Recycled Glassware Lamp by Tat Chao<a href="http://www.tatchao.com/">Tat Chao</a> showcased a stunning new set of pendant lamps made from recycled glassware.2
- Prism by Daniel Martinez for ParsonsThird year students at <a href="http://www.newschool.edu/parsons/">Parsons the New School for Design</a> teamed up with <a href="http://www.areaware.com/">Areaware</a> for Small Things Matter. The exhibition challenged students to design a small "impulse buy" product that syncs with a charity to affect positive change in the world. Daniel Martinez' Prism is designed to benefit the Wikimedia Foundation's goal of distributing free educational content.3
- Richie the Hedgehog Brush by Giuliana GentileGiuliana Gentile designed this cute Richie the Hedgehog Brush to raise funds for charities like Locks of Love that donate wigs to those who suffer from hair loss from medical treatment. Richie was showcased at the Areaware and <a href="http://events.newschool.edu/event/small_things_matter_a_partnership_between_parsons_bfa_product_design_and_areaware">Parsons Small Things Matter Exhibit</a>.4
- Canopy Coasters by Grey Young KimGrey Young Kim's Canopy Coasters are made from sustainably harvested wood and are designed to benefit forest conservation organizations. They were showcased at the Areaware and <a href="http://events.newschool.edu/event/small_things_matter_a_partnership_between_parsons_bfa_product_design_and_areaware">Parsons Small Things Matter Exhibit</a>.5
- Little Architect Toolset by Carlos NgCarlos Ng's Little Architect Toolset is an awesome magnetic block set that is designed to encourage budding architects to learn through play. The set was showcased at the Areaware and <a href="http://events.newschool.edu/event/small_things_matter_a_partnership_between_parsons_bfa_product_design_and_areaware">Parsons Small Things Matter Exhibit</a>.6
- Lucky Eye Blackbody OLED Mirror<a href="http://www.blackbody-oled.com/">Blackbody</a> showcased this mind-blowing Lucky Eye OLED mirror, which draws upon the belief that large convex mirrors bring good fortune to their owners. We think it takes a pretty great selfie.7
- OLED Chandelier by BlackbodyA massive constellation of OLED chandeliers by <a href="http://www.blackbody-oled.com/">Blackbody</a> welcomed visitors to Wanted Design 2014.8
- Hush Pendant by David TrubridgeInhabitat favorite <a href="http://www.davidtrubridge.com/">David Trubridge</a> unveiled his massive new 47-inch-wide Hush pendant light, which is made from recycled PET and doubles as an acoustic sound dampener.9
- Best Before OLED Chicken Light by Blackbody<a href="http://www.blackbody-oled.com/">Blackbody</a> 's quirky "Best Before" OLED lamp is shaped like a chicken sans head. The Lamp can be plugged into any USB port, making it a great nightlight or desk lamp.10
- Lamps by David Trubridge<a href="http://www.davidtrubridge.com/">David Trubridge</a> hung his sustainable pendant lights from a massive tree made from his new wave-like flat pack pattern.11
- Ceramic Planters by A Space StudioBrooklyn-based <a href="http://www.aspacestudio.com/">A Space Studio</a> showcased a series of beautiful planters inspired by their travels around the world. This geometric red and white series was inspired by Mexico.12
- Recycled Textile Polar Bear Rug by FabricaGuatemala-based <a href="http://www.fabricaatguatemala.com/">Fabrica</a> salvaged leftover material from the local textile industry to make this awesome polar bear rug!13
- Recycled Textile Pouf by FabricaAs the seasons change and fashions come and go, <a href="http://www.fabricaatguatemala.com/">Fabrica</a> salvages different textiles to make their recycled designs. We dig their colorful new poufs made from neon threads, mattress springs, and recycled soccer balls.14
- 3D Printed LED Lamp by Elish Warlop<a href="http://www.elishwarlop.com/">Elish Warlop</a>'s elegant hoop lamp was made using 3D printing technology and low-energy LED lights. The rings can be adjusted to direct light and cast concentric shadows upon nearby surfaces.15
- NASZ King Lizard by Antoni BielwaskiPolish design collective NASZ showcased a series of fun toys made from wood. This awesome King Lizard with articulated joints was designed by Antoni Bielawski.16
- CAPS Candle Holder by Javier Figueroa and Karla PimentelJavier Figueroa and Karla Pimentel created these cool CAPS candle holders from recycled wine bottles for <a href="http://thecarrotconcept.com/">The Carrot Concept</a>.17
- Meteoro Planter by Vladimir GarciaVladimir Garcia created these Meteoro planters for the <a href="http://www.designinpuertorico.com/#!meteoro-hanging-vessel-/c1pi2">Design in Puerto Puerto Rico</a> exhibition. They are made from recyclable aluminum, and they can be used inside or outside.18
- Lily Light by Street and Garden<a href=“http://streetandgarden.com/“>Street and Garden</a>’s colorful Lily Light is made from a repurposed drinking glass and lightweight aluminum petals.19
- Mushbloom Lamp by Danielle TrofeBrooklyn-based designer <a href=“http://danielletrofe.com/“>Danielle Trofe</a> sourced material from <a href=“http://www.ecovativedesign.com/“>Ecovative</a> to create her awesome <a href=“http://danielletrofe.com/mush-lume/“>Mush-Lume</a> lamp, which is made from mushroom mycelium! Trofe also showcased a new series of planters and pendant lights made from the mushroom material and finished with a biodegradable organic milk paint.20
- LED Ring Light by Kjartan Oskarsson<a href=“http://www.risd.edu/“>RISD</a> Furniture MFA student <a href=“http://www.kjartanoskarsson.com/“>Kjartan Oskarsson</a> created this ethereal Wheel Lamp, which features an innovative design “twist”. Simply rotate the wheel to turn it on and adjust its brightness.21
- CYQL Recycled Bike Tube Ottoman by DesignLaboratoire<a href=“http://www.designlaboratoire.com/DesignLaboratoire/Home.html”>DesignLaboratoire</a>’s comfy <a href=“http://designlaboratoire.com/DesignLaboratoire/CYQL_2.html”>CYQL</a> ottomans are made from used bicycle tubes sourced from bike shops.22
- Axor WaterDream by NendoSome say water and electricity don’t mix, but <a href=“http://www.nendo.jp/en/“>Nendo</a> begs to differ. The <a href=“http://www.hansgrohe-int.com/21207.htm”>Axor WaterDream</a> is a crazy multitasking LED light that doubles as a shower!23
- Twig Bench by Derlot<a href="http://derlot.com/">Derlot</a> works with local manufacturers to produce its modular Twig benches, which can be combined to form branching seating arrangements. The colored versions are made from recycled polypropylene, while the translucent version is illuminated by energy-efficient LED lights.24
- Elevage Garden by Austin Fagot<a href=“http://www.rit.edu/“>RIT</a> students teamed up with <a href=“http://www.lolldesigns.com/“>Loll</a> to produce a collection of furniture made of recycled plastic sourced from milk containers! Austin Fagot created this bright orange vertical garden unit.25
- bikeID BicycleScandinavian cycling company <a href=“http://www.bikeid.us/“>BikeID</a> showcased this gleaming gold bike outfitted with an ultra minimalist set of components.26
- Cynara Lamp by Otra<a href=“http://otra-design.com/“>Otra</a>’s elegant pendant lights are made from 100% recycled cardboard. The lamps pack flat to ship, and they can be easily assembled without the use of screws or glue.27
- Husque Recycled Macadamia Shell Bowls<a href=“http://www.husque.com/“>Husque</a>’s cool bowls are made from recycled Australian macadamia nut shells and finished with a bright pop of color.28
- Mushroom LED Lights by Francois AzambourgFrench designer <a href=“http://www.azambourg.com/“>Francois Azambourg</a> experiments with ultralight materials and efficient bulbs to create innovative furnishings with a low shipping footprint. We particularly liked these cute little LED lamps that look like toadstools or tiny trees.29
- Recycled Lamps by Lampi Lampa‘Everything but the kitchen sink’ doesn’t begin to describe <a href=“http://www.lampilampa.com/“>Lampi Lampa</a>’s amazing lamps, which are made from from reclaimed fittings, repurposed containers, and other bits and pieces of industrial salvage.30
- Recycled Cardboard Furnishings by Marie-José Gustave<a href=“http://mariejosegustave.moonfruit.com/“>Marie-José Gustave</a> uses innovative techniques to elevate simple everyday materials into gorgeous works of art. We love her wall panels and lights made from recycled corrugated cardboard.31
