Think climate change is some sort of elaborate hoax? Prove it. That’s the challenge from Dr. Christopher Keating – and if you’re up to the task, he is willing to put his money where his mouth is. Keating is offering $10,000 to anyone over the age of 18 who can, using the scientific method, disprove climate change. He’s calling it The $10,000 Global Warming Skeptic Challenge, and the prize money is still there waiting for an individual to disprove the overwhelming scientific consensus on climate change.

Climate change, global warming, climate change skeptics, global warming skeptics, disprove climate change, disprove global warming, climate change debate, climate change argument, climate change studies, global warming debate, global warming argument, global warming evidence, Dr. Christopher Keating, Dr. Christopher Keating global warming, global warming contest, climate change contest, 10,000 disprove climate change

Keating says that anyone who can submit scientific evidence showing that climate change is not occurring is eligible for the prize, and the proof doesn’t even need to be an original argument – if skeptics can find evidence from any scientific study out there, they just need to submit it to win the money. There has been a lively debate on Keating’s blog, and so many people have joined the argument that the site can’t handle all of the comments coming in.

Unsurprisingly, no one has been able to meet the challenge – and since global warming has been proven time and again, no one will. After all, the point isn’t to actually find proof – it’s to bring attention to the fact that no one in the world has been able to disprove climate change.
