Made from a single recycled paper cone, the Pulp Task Lamp by Tom Mollnow is designed to have as little environmental impact as possible. It consists of locally sourced biodegradable post-consumer cardboard and paper, which are mashed to a pulp and then shaped into a conic mold and left to dry. The lamp’s shade is designed with a thicker spine and rounded borders to make it stronger and more durable. The electrical parts are mainly made from aluminum and copper, two materials that can be easily recycled once the lamp has reached the end of its lifecycle.
