The environmentally friendly Passion House M1 is constructed mainly out of wood, with a glulam structure frame and cross-laminated-timber wall panels. The windows are made from wood-aluminum and the furnishings are constructed from painted or laminated MDF boards. The unit’s energy efficient design uses passive ventilation and solar shading instead of an air conditioning system.
Built for Nordic climates, the all-inclusive prefab home can handle heavy snow loads. Rockwool wall insulation fortifies the homes against the winter elements. A fully automated system uses solar heating during the spring and autumn months.

The Passion House M1 comes in two versions: one with a large sauna or a large bedroom. All units are fully furnished with two fold out beds, an open-plan kitchen and living room, bathroom, wrap-around timber deck, and showers.
