While everyone else was stringing lights and hanging tinsel on their own Christmas trees, a group of Australian LEGO geniuses were putting together the world’s tallest and largest LEGO tree. At 32.8-feet, the massive tree uses a combination of LEGO and Duplo bricks and will stand until December 26 at the Pitt Street Mall in Sydney.
Not content to rest on their pine boughs, the group also built a Christmas Koala, a surfing Saint Nick, a pile of gifts and massive ornaments. There’s even a reindeer designed by 10-year old LEGO club member Luke Francis. Oh yeah, and the whole thing lights up.
