What's sweet, colorful, and covered with adorable panda patterns? Why, it's the world's largest—and sweetest—candy carpet! Made from a staggering 13 tonnes of colorful candy pieces, the nearly 14,000-square-foot “Sweet As One” art installation was created in celebration of the IFS department store’s first anniversary in Chengdu, China and to bring awareness to the plight of underprivileged children in rural areas.

The massive candy carpet stretches 607 feet long by 23 feet wide.

Sweet As One was curated by Hong Kong creative studio AllRightsReserved and its graphic pattern was created by graphic design duo Craig & Karl.

Over 2,000 volunteers meticulously assembled the entire piece by hand over just five days.

In contrast to the high-end fashion labels that make up the IFC shopfronts, the Sweet As One installation is playful and childlike in color and form.
