With 3D printing and scanning exploding across headlines, you’ve probably wondered when you’d finally be able to bring a full suite of the futuristic technologies home. According to a Kickstarter campaign launched yesterday by the folks at AIO Robotics, it could be as early as next year. ZEUS, the world’s first all-in-one 3D copy machine, offers 3D scanning, printing, copying and faxing capabilities with just one touch of a button. If that doesn’t sound amazing enough, the Kickstarter became an overnight sensation, reaching its $100,000 goal in just one day!

One of the biggest setbacks to 3D printing has been cost and convenience. So AIO Robotics created ZEUS, a more affordable multipurpose product that offers 3D printing with the convenience and ease of use of everyday electronics such as computers and TVs.

And though the convenience of home 3D printing may sound like something out of the Jetsons, the ZEUS’ sleek design was purposefully made to look simple and easy to use. Outfitted with an aluminum structure, ZEUS is powder-coated in a moonstone white and finished with black anodized side panels. A 7-inch touchscreen completes the user-friendly design.

The projected retail price of the Zeus is $2,499, however, fifty Kickstarter backers were able to take advantage of an early bird discount price at $1,999. AIO Robotics plans to ship out the fully assembled printers by July and August of 2014.
